Dr. Francis grew up in Tennessee working on farms, mostly with cattle. He started his career in large animal doing farm calls but switched to strictly cats and dogs while following wife around as she finished her education also in Veterinary medicine. Dr. Francis worked for 2 years in Nashville, TN and then 3 years in Illinois before coming to Richmond. In free time Dr. Francis enjoys outdoor activities, particularly the lake and camping.
